New to Triathlon and not sure where to start?
In 2017 we have launched our Novice Triathlete Plan where for the cost of a bike fit, you not only get a full Retul bike fit but it includes a FREE 12 week training plan to help you get started on the road to your first triathlon.
How does it work?
You will need to book through our online booking system on a Novice Training Plan appointment. Your appointment will be between 2 and 3 hours and you can book it here:
During the appointment we will first of all carry out a physical assessment – this will go towards your personalised strength and conditioning plan, which will be part of your 12 week training plan. We will also get to know you and find out more about which race you are hoping to do so that we can apply the most appropriate training plan for you.
We will also set your bike up using the Retul system, making any changes that we need to, to ensure your comfort on the bike. We will also look at your cleat set up, or if you are just using trainers on the bike, advise the best position for your feet on the pedals.
During the fit we will also take the opportunity to look at your pedalling and give you advice as to how you can improve your cycling.
After the fit, we will spend some time showing you how to use Training Peaks and discuss how to get the most out of the training sessions.
We will invite you to join our Training Peaks account, which is how we will deliver your training plan to you. You can download the app or just pick up your daily email which will outline your training for that day – or you can look at it all on line a week ahead.
The cost of this package is £200.
